JLPT Self Study
Jlpt Self Study aims to help you with the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) by breaking down the task of learning the necessary kanji and vocabulary, as well as show you the grammar needed for the tests.
The application includes about 2000 kanji and over 8000 words, divided into 5 levels to match the N5, N4, N3, N2 and N1 levels of the nihongo nōryoku shiken (日本語能力試験), Japanese Language Proficiency Test, designed to score foreign speakers japanese ability.
The kanji section includes several kanji compounds for each kanji. Very often a single kanji does not have a meaning by it self and have to be joined with either other kanji or hiragana to form a word. Studying kanji compounds effectively increases your vocabulary by synergy of using a common kanji with new content.
The application used interval based learning to efficiently help with the long term learning of kanji and words. For each time a word is tested correctly, its "score" will increase and the time until it is tested again will increase. If a test fails the word will appear directly in the next test round again. This means that focus will be on new words and words that you constantly fails on.

Une màj de la grammaire est indispensable. A grammar update is highly necessary !
The grammar part and example sentence for vocabulary when will release? I very like this app. It is really useful for my jlpt test preparing
This app is not so good as other JLPT app. Its N1,N2, and N3 grammar function do not work because when you tap them no explanation sentences shown like N4 and N5. It does not give enough example sentence. For $3.99, it is not worth the money. Hope the future edition will improve and correct the problem.
This App and another App called JLPT Study are essentially one and the same. There is little difference other than the launch icon. Dont waste your money buying both.
Ive been using this app to study level N1. I like the structure of the kanji and vocal study sections, particularly the add or remove function and the known words. It is great to be able to skip characters you already know for sure! There are a few bugs I really wish would be fixed: 1. Often when studying a set of kanji a second time in one session, many (sometimes all) of the sample words disappear. 2. When an incorrect answer is chosen for an English-language question, the incorrect answer is pushed off the bottom of the screen in the subsequent window (not a huge issue, but its ugly). 3. There are few incorrect characters mixed in with the example vocabulary, where the kanji under question and the kanji in the sample vocabulary doesnt match. Please fix and this would be even better! お願いします。
